CNA

Certified Nursing Assistants help patients maintain their comfort and safety. Their responsibilities may constitute personal care and assistance with daily living activities, but the services they offer each client is different due to the varying levels of care assistance they require. CNAs enable clients to conserve their independence and self-respect because their ultimate goal is to support, giving the patients a chance to do the activities they can do on their own, albeit with supervision.

Licensed Practical Nurses are trained in basic health care and are capable of performing a wide array of services. Apart from wound care, catheter care, vital signs monitoring, and more, they may also interview patients to record their health history and take their samples (if necessary) to be sent to the laboratory for tests and evaluations. They may also help families understand their loved one's condition and the role of treatment and medications in managing their loved one's health symptoms.
